Artist Statement
I believe anything in the world can be photographed—captured through the lens in a moment of light and perspective. Photography has taught me to keep my eyes open, to see the world in ways I hadn’t before. What excites me most is that no two photographers see the same thing the same way. That diversity of vision is what makes photography so powerful.
My passion doesn’t lie in a single subject or style—there’s always more to explore. Even when working in a genre someone else knows well, I enjoy seeing how their unique eye interprets it. I frequently use my 45mm lens, though I also own a 75mm, which I use more selectively. For me, it’s never about how many lenses you have—it’s about having the eye to see and capture a compelling image.
I haven’t yet found my trademark style—or perhaps I haven’t recognized it yet. At one point, I thought landscapes might define me, but that was before I began to explore the full spectrum of photography. For now, that uncertainty tells me there’s still more to learn, and I welcome that.
